The best part of my job is seeing the excitement and joy on our campers’ faces before and after camp, and witnessing the friendships that continue to blossom. This summer we have a number of new camp activities which I am excited to share with you. I have filtered this love of people, places, and constant learning through every camp. Prior to life with my husband and son, I travelled through 7 continents as a published photographer, and spent years working as an EMT on the ambulances in Oklahoma and Texas. Like many of you, I have been drawn to this beautiful part of the country, and am happy to call this valley home. Our summer mission is to continue nurturing a safe, positive, and fun experience, so at the end of the day- kids can be kids.

We are looking forward to a wonderful camp experience for 2021 and are looking forward to having your children back at Camp Iron Horse. Other COVID policies, announcements and restrictions will be communicated in a timely manner.Likewise, at any point during Camp if a Camper starts to feel unwell, we will call a parent to come and pick their child up. If your child is feeling unwell prior to the start of that day’s camp, please practice courtesy and keep them home.

If not, we will have masks on hand for our Campers to utilize. If your child has a favorite mask that they want to bring, please send it with them.

Masks will be required while indoors at Fish Camp and when asked of us by our independent vendors for Camp.

The ability to physically distance in vehicles will be practiced as much as possible, but on very full days, will not be an option.

Masks will be always required when Campers and counselors are in vehicles.

These requirements are subject to change. We will follow all CDC and City of Whitefish requirements. Final COVID rules have not yet been finalized, but as of today, here is what we can confirm.
